Making your sales copy a success is about getting the various factors right. All sales copy has a story line to it, and you bring your reader into it and bridge the product to them. Of course there are established conventions used with copywriting that serve many purposes. Creating effective bullet points is almost an art form, and they do have a big job in your copy. If you have never written copy before, or you have little experience, then learning how to create these copy killers is most important.
See to it that you?re leaving a double space between the bullet points, and each of your bullet point should be clearly visible to your readers. For one thing, you should never single space your bullets because they will be too easy to miss. These short one-liners have to be easy to understand with no tricks of any kind. Once you write your bullet points, be sure to return to them and proof read and revise for added impact. You may be surprised at how powerful well written bullets can be when it comes to persuading readers.
Write as many points that you can think of, and then choose only the best out of that bunch. You will find that some bullets may overlap, and if that happens just combine them to make one. This also allows you to create the necessary inner balance within your copy. As you look for where you can put your bullets, just realize you can always write a new paragraph. Take out your time to highlight the most prominent points of your copy.
Some may think bullets are not so important because they are easier to write, and that is a huge mistake. You have a lot to keep in mind with these, so do not let that slip your mind. They allow you to bring out the important points in your sales letter, and it?s obvious that everything about it can?t be important, right? If you think you have a lot of bullets, then that is fine just as long as you present them properly. So just do not think you have to edit them out because you feel the letter will be too long.
It takes some time to get the hang of writing copy that is able to convert. But your brilliant bullet points will not win the day all alone, and everything else has to work, too. Copywriters who came up in the old days were excellent and are worth your time to learn from. The one thing about this is it takes time to really become grounded in it, and that is too much to task for some people. There is a good deal more out there waiting for you to learn, so take the initiative to make yourself better.
