my dad has brain cancer and had surgery and now hes almost completely insane and very confused. hopefully same woulnt happen to you.

Charli ? Knowing your age and the exact location of the ?tumor? in the brain allows the radiologists to look at the scan and know what the most likely choices are. There are several brain tumors and brain cysts that are benign ? NOT malignant. The radiologists normally do not give any interpretation to a patient, but instead tell the patient?s physician who is responsible for your care. Then your physician should speak with you and answer ALL your questions that he/she can. It may be necessary for further studies or even a tissue biopsy to be done to make an accurate diagnosis by the pathologist, under the microscope. At that point more specific plans can be made by you and your doctor as to how you will proceed. Take one step at a time.

Each tumor is different. Every experience with surgery is different. I had craniotomony for an astrocytoma grade 4 last october. No issues from surgery. Minor issues from radiation. My total expeerience from before surgery to about two months ago is located at

I went to the hospital this morning to check up on my epilepsy and i had to have a brain scan and about 3 hours after having the stupid suck things stuck to my head these doctors said i had a brain tumor they didn?t tell me what sort i had but i might have to have brain surgery i really hate having surgery but brain is even scarier. Have any of you people had brain tumors? can you share your experience with me? thanks
