Assistant Vice President for International Education and Director of the International Education Center

Reporting directly to the Associate Provost, the AVP for International Education has institution-wide responsibility for leadership, advocacy, management, promotion, coordination, and development of international services and programs. Working collaboratively with faculty, staff, and administration, this position is instrumental in advancing a strategic plan for internationalizing the university in support of the university mission to enable graduates to thrive in an information-intensive and diverse global society. The Director of the International Education Center manages all areas of internationalization, including study abroad program development and advisement, exchange programs and agreements with partner universities, international admissions and recruitment, international student and scholar services, and the International Degree Option and International Studies Minor. Our comprehensive International Education Center works with students, faculty, and staff across campus to promote international and cross-cultural learning, as well as respect for diversity, and assists the university in producing graduates who are prepared to accept their responsibilities as citizens of the world.
