MADISON COUNTY, AL (WAFF)- The attorney receiving the case against Tornado Masters set a deadline for anyone filing a claim.
Attorney Bill Gibbons set that deadline for August 15.
Those who wish to file a claim against Tornado Masters must do so by that date.
Gibbons sent an e-mail on Thursday detailing instructions on how to file a claim.
It stated that claims should include the total amount of loss and the basis of the claim along with documents that support it.
Gibbons stated he's hopeful the court will approve the claims within 30 days of the August 15 deadline.
Tornado Masters is now out of business after a court ordered a permanent injunction against it in April.
The court said the company misled customers into believing the shelters could withstand an EF-5 tornado.
The court also said the company falsely stated their shelters met FEMA standards.
The case receiver said anyone filing a claim must fill out a claim form.
