STORY
War has been a part of our history since the dawn of time. Whether it was for personal gain or for the good of a country, it has been bred into our veins and inevitable that we should continue it. This war, however; is not one born of human greed, but of a demons?. Yes, a demon. This demon is not your ordinary demon, however. He is the king of demons. His selfish ambition is to obtain the five beasts and use their power to conquer the earth. Before his ambitions could come true, the five beasts were killed. The souls of the beasts, however, would be reincarnated a millennia after their deaths into five unsuspecting children, who would grow up with their former life sealed deep within their mind. The demon king has learned of their reincarnation and has his sights set on the five reincarnations. As he prepares to extract the four souls, something unexpected happens. One of the vessels captures his interest, and he finds himself falling for the vessel of one of the beasts. Can he continue on with his plan, or will his affection for the vessel prove more important than the world?

THE BEASTS
The Fire Beast
Unlike its element, the fire beast is rather calmed, calculative, and very precise. They think before leaping, however; they have no regard to others except their kin. They are the sturdy foundation the beasts need and would be considered the leader of the group. They are also the strongest of the beasts, second to none.
The Earth Beast
Much like the fire beast, however; they are more defined in their actions and take others into consideration before acting. The Earth beast is also more or less second-in-command and has been the foundation of the beasts should the Fire beast die. This soul is extremely loyal to their kin and will not allow anything to happen to them.
The Water Beast
One would think that the water beast would be calm and fluid. In reality, the water beast acts much like a fire beast should. Hot-headed and ill-tempered, this beast is known to cause tantrums and isn?t the most friendliest of souls. Although rather calm and level-headed during heated situations, this beast is loyal only to its kin and does not show mercy.
The Light Beast
Much like its element, the light soul is the embodiment of innocence. Do not let this fool you, however; this beast can be extremely protective of their kin and are extremely loyal. Unlike the Shadow Beast, the Light beast prefers the company of anyone it can find and will usually be the center of attention. This beast would have been considered the leader, however; their innocence prevents them from being a leader and more of a consultant.
The Shadow Beast
Not much is really known about the shadow beast. Their loyalty is always questioned and has been known to be rather reckless in their life. This beast prefers the company of none and will only tolerate the other souls for so long. Because of this, this beast has been known to be rather lonely.
RULES
- First Rule: Courtesy | This is a simple rule that should be followed by everyone. This role-play is meant for everyone to have fun. Do not take it seriously and please keep everything civilized. If you have a problem with another role-player, please take it to the PM?s or the OOC thread. Do NOT quarrel inside the role-play itself unless it is within context of the role-play. Should I find that you are not cooperative with this rule, you will be banned, and should your character not be finished, it will be rejected. If I have to step in, I will ban both parties from the role-play. Please, do not let it come down to this.
- Second Rule: Characters | Characters will be accepted depending on details. Whether the details are font based, information based, or picture based, they will be judged accordingly. Should for any reason your character is not accepted, there will be a legitimate reason why. Usually I accept characters on good faith, however; that does not mean I will always automatically accept characters. So, if you?d like to be accepted, give me lots of details. I want to know everything about your character. As much as possible!
- Third Rule: Literacy | This one is self explanatory. I do not expect you to be advanced literate, however; I do require you to know basic grammar and spelling. I am not exactly literate myself as I do make mistakes on the norm. This is easily determined through a role-players character, so should I find anything amiss, I will not accept you. Please, have basic grammar skills and if you cannot spell something, look it up in a dictionary or on the internet. In other words, if you cannot tell the difference between their, there, and they?re, please do not join.
- Fourth Rule: Commitment | This isn?t exactly meant to be a long-term role-play, nor is it meant to be short. If you cannot commit to role-play, please do not join. I understand life happens, and I understand most of us either have jobs or have school to attend to so I do not expect posts everyday (unless you are able to). I do, however, expect notification should you not be able to post for one reason or another. In other words, if you need to leave or cannot post due to life, please let me know so that we can work around your character and not be left behind.
- Fifth Rule: Reservations | Please reserve your character. It lets me know how many people are applying, how many roles need to be filled, and so forth. All reservations will last for 48 hours. If you need more time, let me know via PM. I will let you have more time should you ask for it. If you do not submit a finished character sheet by the time your 48 hours are up, your spot will be re-opened for others to join. Also, just because you reserve a character does not mean you are automatically accepted. As stated in the second rule, characters will be judged based on details. When making a reservation, do so in the thread for reservations. If you have any questions, ask them in the OOC.
- Last Rule: Obey | Obey rules 1-5 and we should be able to get along. Also, have fun :D
P.S.: The role-player who takes on the Demon King will be given free range over his actions. In other words, they can decide if the Demon king will follow through on his plans, or if he will not. Also, you do not have to fill out all the spaces for the pictures if you cannot find more than one. also, pictures are to be anime or semi-realistic. No celebrities!
Warnings: include but are not limited to mild adult situations | Mild explicitly such as gore, blood and violence | and language. If you are uncomfortable with these warnings, you are free to leave.
