Eczema spots on the face of a person can affect the person physically and mentally. Spots of eczema can be easily noticed and can be treated by various methods and can also really affect the person?s self-esteem and life.

Eczema is a term that is used by medical groups that refers to a skin condition that causes the skin to be inflamed or irritated and causes red spots to sometimes appear on the face. Symptoms of eczema spots usually tend to persist longer in adults because their body is less immune to these skin diseases than infants. Some adults can also experience eczema symptoms throughout their whole life. But if treated with the right medication and treatment, eczema spots can be cured and controlled for almost all sufferers.

Eczema is most common in Americans in the United States and is one of the most common skin diseases in the United States next to acne. Sadly, doctors do not know the exact cause of eczema but it can be treated if symptoms persist. Most eczema sufferers are seen to have a gene defect or an abnormal function in their immune system which is possibly why they have a condition such as spots of eczema.

Symptoms that are known to appear in adults when signs of eczema shows up are dry, reddened skin that burns and itches when touched. The first symptom seen by adults and infants are itching of the skin, and the next noticeable thing is redness from all the itching and scratching.

Eczema can last for a few hours or days but in some unlucky eczema sufferers, the symptoms lasts a lifetime or for a few years.

Another form of eczema that causes eczema spots is contact eczema, which is a reaction in the skin that causes redness, itching and burning in areas where the skin has an allergic reaction to a substance that the victim is allergic to. However, contact eczema is not as drastic as the normal eczema condition, contact eczema usually persists in the victim for only a few hours and can be treated immediately with the right treatment and medication.

Overall, the symptoms of eczema are shown to be burning, reddening of the skin and itching of the skin. If these symptoms persist, eczema should be treated immediately and can be cured very quickly.
