Do you have an awesome idea for a game? If so then Virgin Media?s latest competition is for you.
Virgin Media will be giving one lucky visionary with a great video game idea?the opportunity to bring their game to life. Virgin are on a mission to find the next great mobile gaming hit, and have launched this competition giving the gaming community a chance to show their creative skill and make their mark on the world of mobile gaming..
The winning game idea will be built at the University of Abertay Dundee in just 100 days. Virgin also plan to launch a Beta version of the winning game in time for the Eurogamer expo. This means that your game could be played by the 50,000 gamers who will be attending the expo in September.
That?s not all however, as if you are the lucky winner you will also be awarded a ?10,000 prize help you build your own career in the gaming industry.
Entry into this once in a life time competition is open now and will remain open until the 27th of May. The winning idea will then be announced in June. The three industry professionals chosen to judge the best game idea are Tom Champion, community and gaming manager of Eurogamer, David Hamilton the managing director of game company Digital Goldfish and Douglas Hare one of the founders of Outplay Entertainment.
