Square has just announced a new offering which gives you all the hardware equipment you need to start taking payments on your iPhone and iPad. You can select bundles based on what you need and they'll be shipped directly to you. All you'll need to bring to the table is an iPhone and/or iPad.
Historically, business owners were forced to piece together multiple hardware components from various manufacturers, manage complicated contracts and pricing structures, and pay for expensive software licensing and service plans. Now, they can be up and running with Square Register in minutes.
According to Square, businesses can select one of two bundles. One includes a square card reader, iPad stand, cash drawer, and receipt printer. This bundle will retail for $599. You can also select a cheaper option without the receipt printer for $299. The receipt printer on its own retails for around $260 on Amazon so it's not too much more directly from Square. For many, the convenience of receiving everything together may outweigh that extra $50 that Square is charging.
